STUDENTS IN PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS

If you have a talent in the visual arts, music, dance or theater, you may want to include evidence of your talent as part of your application. This might include slides of art work, a music tape, a video of a dance or theater performance. Before sending any supplementary materials you should consider the following:

1. Does your St. Albans or private instructor feel your talent will be favorably reviewed by others?

2. Do you have time and the resources to showcase your talent in a format that is acceptable to the college? (for example, to record a high quality tape or make slides of your original art work.)

3. What format does each college accept in the way of supplementary materials? Contact the admissions office at the college and ask their policy.
